TOUR 1: EXPLORE HISTORIC SOUTHWEST LOUISIANA
Enjoy a step back in time with a tour of the Charpentier Historic District, 40 blocks through downtown Lake Charles of homes on the National Register of Historic Homes, and the amazing Shell Beach Drive Historic District.  Visits to the Mardi Gras Museum of Imperial Calcasieu and the 1911 City Hall Arts & Cultural Center will be included as well as a stop at one of our newest downtown shops-Cajun Gypsy. The tour will end with a quick tour (and tasting of course!) at Crying Eagle Brewing.

TOUR 2: BOUDIN AND THE CREOLE NATURE TRAIL ALL-AMERICAN ROAD
Nature lovers can view birds, waterfowl and wildlife along the one of only 43 All-American Road byways in the USA—the Creole Nature Trail All-American Road, also known as Louisiana’s Outback.  Foodies will enjoy several stops along the Southwest Louisiana Boudin Trail to taste the locals’ favorite finger food and enjoy a delicious Southwest Louisiana style plate lunch.  Visit the Cameron Prairie National Wildlife Refuge Visitor’s Center and experience the Pintail Wildlife Drive.  Learn about the Creole Nature Trail free Smartphone app that add to the visitor experience. This tour is wheelchair accessible.

TOUR 3: ECLECTIC SHOPPING AND ADVENTURES
For those of you who are more into adventure that includes credit cards this is your tour. Get closer to outdoors and nature, within air-conditioned comfort, at Creole Nature Trail Adventure Point. Next stop, Brimstone Museum where you will experience the long and varied history of West Calcasieu Parish. All warmed up? Let’s go shopping at Flock of Five Gift and Art Emporium—6,000 square feet of unique and hand-made art, jewelry, jams & jellies, soaps, and MUCH more. After plenty of time to shop (and buy!) we’ll end the tour with boudin & cracklin’ tasting at LeBleu’s Landing/The Sausage Link.

TOUR 4: GATORS, RUM, MUSEUMS & MORE
This tour will head, slightly, east young man. First stop, Gator Chateau where you will learn about, and hold, baby alligators. Next, we’re off to the W. H. Tupper General Merchandise Museum and Louisiana Telephone Pioneers Museum, both amazing time capsules in downtown Jennings. Then its on to the Zigler Museum whose collection surveys and celebrates the development of visual art in Louisiana. Full of knowledge we’ll head to Louisiana Spirits, home of Bayou Rum for a tour and tasting!
